Pastor Mark & Annetta Carter
Pastor, Mark Carter was called to Colfax Baptist Church in March of 2015. Prior to serving this church, Pastor Mark served as a Youth Pastor for 24 years and a Children’s Pastor for 6 years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, being outdoors, boating, and traveling.
Annetta has spent the past 31 years as an insurance agent and retirement strategist. She leads the worship team at Colfax Baptist Church and enjoys music, reading, boating, traveling, and helping people.
Pastor Mark and Annetta have one son, Jacob, and a daughter-in-law, Ari. They love spending time with their family and many friends!
Youth Pastor Ben & Misty Palmer
Benjamin Palmer is the Youth Pastor, He has been at Colfax for 6 years now and in the ministry since he was called in high school. He received a BA in youth ministry and political science from Howard Payne University. Ben is a self-proclaimed nerd and loves video games, disk golf, and building computers. He also works full-time as a computer science teacher at Terrell High School.
Misty Palmer is a nurse with her LVN Certificate and supports Ben in every aspect of his ministry. Ben and Misty have recently had their first child Levi, you can catch him learning to walk right in the middle of Sunday morning sermons. They are expecting another child this upcoming summer.
